Being an impulsive communicator and learner, Omar continues to make his living from different open source web technologies. Omar is interested in software process improvement in general and agile software development in particular. He actively contributes to the drupal community by writing new modules and themes, bug fixes and patches, and answering support requests. He is a firm believer in open web standards. Omar is interested in software architecture, search engine optimization, and web optimization.

Before joining OpenCraft, Omar held various positions in Future Group, Link Egypt and Cairo University.
