Yasmine mainly works in the people side of the software industry -both as a business analyst and a usability engineer- trying to bridge the gap between the user and the software developer. She believes in the power of the Internet in fostering the communication of information. Her interests lie in social, edutainment and media-based websites with a passion towards studying how web 2.0 affects social and community development.
Yasmine holds a BSc in Computer and Information Sciences from Ain Shams university in Cairo and a MSc in Interactive Multimedia from the University of Westminster in London. Prior to joining OpenCraft, she played different roles in both IBM and ITWorx in Cairo, including software quality assurance and process improvement, usability engineering and business analysis.
